On July 7, 1972-A history making cadet class of 14 women graduated from the Pennsylvania State Police Academy. This was the first time in the history of the country that women would perform the same Trooper duties in a historically all male organization.

This DVD documentary contains personal commentaries from Pennsylvania State Police Academy staff who trained the female cadets, and insight of their personal views as to whether they thought the females would be accepted by a traditionally all male organization. It also includes interviews of female Troopers who graduated from the 1972 academy class and footage during their training and graduation. These women proved they were capable of performing the duties of a Pennsylvania State Trooper.  This DVD includes a special insert of a picture and names of the first 14 females to graduate from the Pennsylvania State Police Academy.
