It is the mission of the Pennsylvania State Police Historical, Educational and Memorial Center (PSP-HEMC) to preserve the history of the PA State Police and at the same time share with the public the remarkable accomplishments, historical artifacts, and documents of this highly regarded organization. PSP-HEMC was chartered in 1997 as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and began formal operations in 1999.
